X-Vault is a document vault that lives on your computer — not in the cloud. Keep your records organized, find what you need in seconds, and reuse the information you've already gathered when it's time to prepare a form.
Not yet released. Email us and we'll let you know the moment it's ready — no spam, one email.
No servers, no sync, nothing in the cloud.
No account, no email, no profile — ever.
Everything stays local, encrypted, yours.
Full product, no trial, no catch.
Discharge papers in a drawer. Medical records in three different portals. A scanned copy of something important — somewhere. When it's time to prepare a form, you end up hunting for the same information all over again.
Important documents end up spread across email attachments, filing cabinets, phone photos, and old folders. There's no single place you can trust.
Every new form asks for the same dates, numbers, and details you've already written down a dozen times before — and you have to dig them up again.
These aren't ordinary files. Uploading discharge papers, medical records, or financial documents to someone else's server never feels quite right.
Install X-Vault on your computer and open it. Your vault is ready the moment the app opens.
Drag in PDFs, scans, and photos of your paperwork. X-Vault helps you label and organize them so everything important lives in one place.
Search your vault in seconds. When you're preparing a form, X-Vault Forms helps you pull the details you've already stored — so you're not starting from zero.
X-Vault is designed to feel calm. Clear categories, readable labels, and nothing competing for your attention.
Illustrative preview. Your vault, your categories, your documents.
X-Vault was built by a veteran who has been through the paperwork a claim creates. It was designed to keep sensitive records on your own device, not on someone else's servers.
When the paperwork behind a claim starts piling up, the hardest part is often not one single form. It's keeping track of everything, finding the same information again, and deciding where sensitive records should live. X-Vault was created from that exact experience, with one goal: give people a private, local-first place to keep their documents organized and ready when they need them.
X-Vault Forms is a feature of X-Vault that helps you prepare forms faster using the information already stored in your vault. Instead of hunting through papers for a service date or policy number, X-Vault Forms finds the details you've saved and places them into a draft for you to review.
Most apps ask you to trust their servers. X-Vault removes the question entirely — there are no servers to trust, because your documents never leave your computer.
Your vault is stored on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up to the cloud by X-Vault.
We don't ask who you are. No login, no email address, no profile — there's simply nothing about you for anyone to hold.
Vault contents are stored encrypted on your device, adding a strong layer of protection if the computer is ever lost or shared.
Export your documents at any time in the standard formats they were added in. Remove your vault whenever you choose — X-Vault keeps no copies anywhere else.
Trust means being clear about limits. X-Vault is a private place to keep and reuse your own information — nothing more, and we think that's the point.
No. X-Vault requires no login, no sign-up, and no email address. You download the app, open it, and your vault is ready. We never learn who you are.
On your computer, and only on your computer. X-Vault is local-first software — it doesn't upload, sync, or transmit your documents anywhere. The public website you're reading now is a separate static page and has no connection to your vault.
No. X-Vault Forms helps you prepare drafts using information you've already stored in your vault. You review every field, and any submission — online, by mail, or in person — is done by you, outside of X-Vault.
Yes. Veterans get the full product free, permanently. It's not a trial and there's no catch — supporting veterans is part of why we built X-Vault.
Only to download the app. After that, X-Vault works entirely offline. Your vault never depends on a connection — or on us.
Because X-Vault doesn't keep copies of your documents, we can't recover them for you — that's the flip side of true privacy. X-Vault makes it easy to export an encrypted backup to a drive of your choosing, and we recommend doing so regularly.
X-Vault helps you keep the documents and details a claim requires organized and easy to find, and X-Vault Forms helps you reuse that information in drafts. It does not provide legal or benefits advice, and it doesn't replace working with an accredited VSO or representative.
X-Vault isn't released yet. Be the first to know when it's ready — no account, no cloud, no cost for veterans, from day one.
Coming soon for Windows and macOS.
